Learn The Art of Sourdough Bread Making
Join us for this brand new specialty workshop offering participants a comprehensive and hands-on experience in the art of sourdough bread-making!
Each participant will learn:
Gut health benefits of sourdough.
The basics of sourdough fermentation and how to care for a starter.
Techniques for mixing, kneading, shaping, stretching, and scoring dough.
Baking tips and tricks to achieve a perfect crust and crumb.
Each participant will take home:
The loaf they shaped during the class, to bake the following day (bowl included!).
An active sourdough starter with jar.
Printed tried and true recipes for breads and other sourdough goodies!
Provided during the event:
Jar and ingredients to mix your own sourdough starter.
Pre-mixed dough to practice kneading and shaping.
Tools for hands-on practice (mixing bowls, baking mats, mixing spatulas, etc.)
A sourdough loaf and other items for tasting.
